The Role

 

This is a period of exciting growth for Avramar (the worlds largest producer of Mediterranean fish) on the back of new investment and leadership.

 

As part of this expansion the need for a visionary Business Development leader with experience in group wide roles across multiple geographical territories is crucial.

 

Reporting into the Chief of Staff this International role requires a “hands on” commercial sales/ BD professional with experience in the Aquaculture arena.

 

The main mission of this wide ranging position is to lead Avramar into new territories, geographies and markets

 

The successful individual will be an expert in Go-to-market strategy and be able to analyse which are the priority markets for new entry, how will this entry be achieved and what are the legal, political, logistical and unforeseen barriers to any such entries.

 

 This role can be based anywhere in the world with constant travel to suit the needs of the business.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Develop new accounts globally by intelligent market entry into relevant geographies with high growth potential.
  • Develop the area sales strategies to meet budget targets.
  • Plan and execute customer visits/travel to all assigned geographic areas.
  • Improve metrics of customers satisfaction and build customer loyalty. Create and maintain beneficial long-term relationships with customers.
  • Establish product pricing strategy.
  • Participate in the creation of the annual business plan for the whole group based on Group sales strategy and priorities.
  • Maximize business opportunities by attending trade shows, keep abreast of trends.
  • Obtain market knowledge through competition monitoring, analysis of customer strategies and buying patterns. • Be able to influence and inspire other senior internal stakeholders and transfer knowledge to them.
